Greater Michigan Construction Academy Graduates 28 Students.

Midland, Michigan, June 2015 The Greater Michigan Construction Academy honored twenty eight students who completed their training from seven different construction trades including Electrical, Carpentry, Pipefitting, Insulation, Plumbing and HVAC.  GMCA held their Graduation Banquet, Friday evening, June 12th at their Midland Training Facility.

“These students are the future of our industry,” says Stephanie Davis, Director of Education for the Greater Michigan Construction Academy. “They are a vital part of our community and our economy and need to be commended for their accomplishments.”

GMCA currently trains in eleven different construction trades and will be adding the Welding trade this coming year thanks to a generous grant received by the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation this spring.  The Academy is a nationally registered program with NCCER and the Federal Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training (BAT).
