Center for Business Innovation Launches Production Print Solutions

LANSING, Mich. – Center for Business Innovation (CBI), a Michigan technology service provider, is launching their production print solutions via Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. Konica Minolta’s production print devices include high-volume color, digital black-and-white press devices, and wide-format devices. These devices deliver impressive color quality, high-speed output and a variety of finishing options. Konica Minolta’s production print product line-up is part of CBI’s imaging solutions expansion.

“As a certified dealer for Konica Minolta, we can now provide organizations with a solution to meet their high-volume printing needs,” said Gary Rainsberger, CBI president. “Konica Minolta’s production print devices are incredibly powerful machines and produce remarkable color quality.”

Konica Minolta’s unique Screen Enhancing Active Digital (SEAD IV) system is just one example of the color management tools that comes with the production print devices. To achieve high quality resolution equivalent to 3,600 dpi, the SEAD IV system incorporates exposure controls, precise pixel placement and advanced screening.

In addition, to the flexible processing and image smoothing controls, the production print devices come with a range of binding and finishing features. These finishing features include stapling and hole-punching, saddle-stitch booklets, perfect-bound books, and six folding options−including inline gatefold.
The production print product lineup includes the Konica Minolta bizhub PRESS and bizhub PRO series. These bizhub devices were among the first to receive the IDEAlliance Digital Press Certification, passing all requirements for CRACol and G7 gray balance reproduction−a specific colorimetric definition of grayscale balance in mid-range tones, weight and contrast. The bizhub PRESS and PRO series comes with an output volume that ranges from 60 to 250 pages per minute.

Rainsberger explains that Konica Minolta’s production print devices are perfect for graphics professionals, print houses, and any organization looking to achieve digital color quality at a high volume output.

“We’re excited be able to provide a new line of imaging solutions and to be able to reach a new market,” said Rainsberger. “Our technicians are completing extensive training required by Konica Minolta, of which is imperative to our success in servicing this industry.”

CBI announced it is a certified Konica Minolta dealer earlier this month. CBI plans to focus on offering their new line to organizations in the Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit and Kalamazoo greater areas.
