Sparrow Children’s Center cutting hair forWigs 4 Kids and Children With Hair Loss

What: The Sparrow Children’s Center invites the public to “share their hair” in honor of
Childhood Cancer Month. This is a great video and photo opportunity with volunteer stylists on site cutting hair to be donated to Wigs 4 Kids and Children With Hair Loss, two Michigan-based organizations that provide free wigs to kids in need.

Where: Sparrow Hospital Main Lobby, 1215 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing.

When: Saturday, Sept. 12, 10 a.m. to noon.

Additional information: Minimum donation length: eight inches. Hair must be clean
and in good condition. Chemically treated and partially gray hair is accepted. Monetary donations and previously cut ponytails or braids are welcome. Free parking for this event will be available in the hospital visitor’s ramp.
