Peckham & Meijer Host Warehouse Jobs Informational Event for People With Disabilities

LANSING, MI –Peckham Inc., will partner with Meijer to host an information session for individuals with disabilities interested in beginning a warehouse career on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.,at Peckham, 3510 Capital City, Blvd. Lansing, Mich.

The retailer offers a competitive benefits package that, depending on position, can include medical/prescription coverage, 401(K) plan with company contributions, employee discounts in stores and paid time off. Starting wage for the positions can be as high as $12.59 per hour. depending on previous experience, actual worksite and date of hire.

Interested candidates must be:

·        At least 18 years of age or older

·        Have a documented disability

·        Able to pass a background check (individuals with a background may be considered for employment on a case-by-case basis)
