Sparrow opens second FastCare clinic to serve Downtown Lansing workers

LANSING, MI – Sparrow FastCare Downtown will open on Tuesday, Nov. 3, offering the first new treatment option of its kind in the downtown Lansing area.

The new clinic at 107 N. Washington Square provides basic health care when and where downtown workers need it most and is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. It’s a more affordable option for basic medical services than a hospital emergency room or urgent care clinic. FastCare offers prompt walk-in treatment for common, non-life-threatening conditions such as minor injuries and infections. No appointments are necessary.

More FastCare facts:

·         Treatment for minor injuries and illnesses such as: allergies, cold and flu symptoms, bladder and ear infections, and minor burns and rashes.

·         Patients must be 18 months or older. Some age restrictions apply for select services.

·         FastCare accepts most insurance plans — co-pays apply.

·         High deductible plan or no insurance? Only Sparrow offers this level of care at an affordable price.

·         Also available: routine camp and sports physicals, TB skin tests, and free blood pressure checks.

Now through December, both Sparrow FastCare Downtown and Sparrow FastCare Frandor, 716 N. Clippert Street, are offering flu shots for just $25, or $0 copay with most insurance plans.
