LANSING, Mich. – Aaron Fuller, principal consultant and owner of Lansing-‐based consulting firm Superior Data Strategies, has developed a new national course on business intelligence and analytics leadership.

The course, which is titled “BI and Analytics Organizations That Work: Resolving Conflicts of Centralization and Self-‐Service,” debuted on Dec. 8, 2015 at the TDWI conference in Orlando, Florida. Participants learned and discussed BI key terms and definitions, approaches for overcoming common challenges for BI/analytics organizations, advantages and disadvantages to BI alternatives, and key capabilities for a successful BI organization including data governance, metadata management, coordinated staff, shared tools and vendors, and enterprise architecture.

“Developing and teaching this course is an opportunity to share the business intelligence and data management strategies that we are cultivating here in Lansing with professionals throughout the nation,” Fuller said.

TDWI focuses on providing data professionals with in-‐depth, best practices-‐based information to explore and enhance data competencies, practices and technologies.

Superior Data Strategies provides data architecture, enterprise architecture, data warehouse, data analysis and IT management consulting services to small, medium and large businesses as well as government and nonprofit organizations.
