Maner Costerisan Announces New Department Heads

Lansing, MI — Maner Costerisan is pleased to announce Jim McNeeley, CPA and Trey Williams, CPA are new heads of the firm’s business accounting services and audit/assurance departments respectively.

McNeeley joined the firm in 2002. In his role as principal and head of the business accounting services department, he serves as an outsourced controller or CFO for several different businesses. McNeeley provides technical and accounting support to Peachtree and QuickBooks software users. In addition, he provides tax planning and consulting services to individuals, small businesses, affordable housing and nonprofit organizations. Internally, he is the chair of the frim’s coaching and mentoring committee and a member of the affordable housing niche committee.

McNeeley graduated summa cum laude from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. In addition, he attended Lansing Community College and Grand Rapids Community College. McNeely is a member of the AICPA and the MICPA. He is treasurer of the Delta-Side Business Association.  McNeely currently resides in DeWitt, Michigan with his wife, Debbi, and their two sons.

Williams joined the firm in 1990. In addition to his role as principal and the audit/assurance department head, he is responsible for providing services to nonprofit associations and closely held businesses in the construction and service industries. Williams also works with organizations in the ERISA industry. Outside of his client responsibilities, Williams is also currently the firm’s nonprofit niche chair, head of the firm’s construction niche and member of the ERISA niche.

Williams received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Michigan State University. He is a member of the AICPA, the MICPA, the Associated General Contractors, the Associated Builders and Contractors, the Michigan Society of Association Executives, the Affordable Housing Association of CPAs (AHACPA), the Rotary Club of Lansing and the Michigan State University Alumni Association. . He resides in Grand Ledge, Michigan with his wife and three children.
