Free pancakes at East Lansing IHOP to support children’s health

Load up on pancakes and feel good about it. Patrons are invited to enjoy free buttermilk pancakes and support children’s health at the East Lansing IHOP on National Pancake Day, Tuesday, March 8.

The annual event raises money and awareness for the Sparrow Children’s Center, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Guests are invited to make a donation for every short stack of pancakes served from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The East Lansing IHOP is located at 2771 E. Grand River Avenue.

Sparrow’s 2016 Miracle Child Abbey Larkin as well as Stephen Guertin, M.D., Medical Director of the Sparrow Children's Center, will be at the East Lansing IHOP and available for media interviews starting at 6 a.m.

Since 2006, IHOP National Pancake Day has raised more than $10 million to provide life-saving treatment and medical equipment for young Patients, including the 54,000 treated each year at Sparrow. For more information, visit
