Lansing Regional Chamber and Tri-County governments to announce major regional partnership agreement

News Conference to Reveal Details of Unprecedented Public/Private Sector Agreement Involving Ingham, Eaton and Clinton Counties

The Ingham, Eaton and Clinton County Board of Commissioners have agreed to join the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and Michigan State University’s Center for Local Government Finance and Policy in an unprecedented regional partnership designed to work on issues that will benefit the entire region. The regional partnership will be discussed at a news conference scheduled as follows:

Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, Insurance Capital Boardroom
500 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing

Officials speaking at the news conference will be:

  • Tim Daman, President and CEO, Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce
  • David Hollister, Co-Chair, City of Lansing Financial Health Team
  • Kara Hope, Chair, Ingham County Board of Commissioners
  • Blake Mulder, Chair, Eaton County Board of Commissioners
  • Eric Scorsone, Director, MSU Center for Local Government Finance and Policy
  • Robert Showers, Chair, Clinton County Board of Commissioners

“This is a significant initiative that will lead to greater dialogue on how we can all work together in ways never envisioned before,” said Daman. “We have a real opportunity to use this collaboration to identify specific issues that we address as a region for the benefit of residents in all three counties.”
