Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce announces November general election endorsements

The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC) has announced its endorsements in the November 8, 2016 General Election. Candidates were endorsed following a screening process by the LRC-PAC Board of Directors that included formal questionnaires and personal interviews. Endorsed candidates are as follows:


  • U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop (8th Congressional)

State House

  • Rep. Tom Leonard (93rd District)
  • Rep. Tom Barrett (71st District)
  • Rep. Andy Schor (68th District)
  • Rep. Sam Singh (69th District)
  • Rep. Tom Cochran (67th District)

Ingham County Commission

  • Randy Maiville (R-Delhi Township)
  • Randy Schafer (R-Williamston)
  • Robin Case Naeyart (R-Mason)
  • Brian McGrain (D-Lansing)
  • Bryan Crenshaw (D-Lansing)
  • Vic Celentino (D-Lansing Township)

Clinton County Commission

  • Kim Washburn (R-Ovid)
  • David Pohl (R-Westphalia)
  • Bruce DeLong (R-St. Johns)
  • Ken Mitchell (R-Watertown Township)
  • Bob Showers (R-Dewitt)
  • Anne Hill (R-Dewitt Township)

Eaton County Commission

  • Blake Mulder (R-Grand Ledge)

Delta Township

“We have endorsed a group of candidates that are supportive of smart economic development, investment and job creation in the tri-county region,” said Steve Japinga, director of government relations for the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “These are candidates with whom we feel we can work effectively to help move the region forward.”


LRC-PAC is the non-partisan political action committee of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, representing more than 1,100 businesses in the tri-county region. The objective of LRC-PAC is to endorse candidates committed to the principles of free enterprise, economic growth and a pro-business philosophy.
