Peak Performance Physical Therapy is excited to announce that we have named Mark Selby as Executive Director. Selby will focus on providing leadership to the already successful team providing insight in strategic planning and growth.

Much of Mark’s career has been spent in business development and executive management roles. He spent over 20 years working for Lansing Electric Motors (now York) which was a business that his Grandfather started back in 1943, and his father owned up until they were successful in selling it to York Repair in late 2015.

As Executive Director, Selby will provide leadership on company growth and strategic planning. He will assist in instilling innovative business practices to the company. His proven track record of leadership will be a great benefit to the current and future staff.

“We are thrilled to have Mark join Peak Performance Physical Therapy as our new Executive Director,” said Jill Marlan, CEO/Founder of Peak Performance Physical Therapy. “His track record of energizing teams, creating value and business leadership make him an ideal fit. I am confident that he will infuse focus and enthusiasm as we continue to expand.”

He held lots of different roles at LEM and successfully worked his way from truck driver/laborer, all the way up to President. He served on the IBEW/NECA Labor Negotiations Committee while employed by Lansing Electric Motors and was an active representative on behalf of the Lansing area NECA Contractors in negotiating new IBEW labor contracts every couple of years. His father, Jack Selby, and himself won the 1997 Lansing Business Monthly Magazine’s “Industrial Entrepreneurial Award” winner, in recognition of the success that Lansing Electric Motors has had over 75 years in business.

“I am very excited and eager to join the team at Peak Performance Physical Therapy.” Said Selby. “I look forward to contributing to Peak’s continued success as an active member of its leadership team.”
