The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce holds more than 50 events each year that bring the business community together for celebration, education and networking. From events that attract nationally-known speakers to the Greater Lansing region, to those that honor and recognize those who excel here at home, they're all a part of the Chamber experience.

Keeping you abreast of current economic trends and local issues is our priority. The Lansing Regional Chamber continually brings you events that increase your knowledge capital, keep you connected to the community, and help your company remain competitive and globally relevant. 10 Over the Next Ten

The 10 Over the Next Ten Awards is an evening spent celebrating the innovative and entrepreneurial leadership from Lansing's best and brightest young professionals. Held in conjunction with the Grand River Connection's fourth Tuesday networking event, this casual awards ceremony is a chance to get social with Lansing's next crop of business and community leaders. #10over10

Annual Dinner

With 800+ attendees, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner is the premier business celebration and networking event in the region. This program honors the outgoing Chair and Board members, includes remarks from the Chamber’s incoming Board Chair and the presentation of the Community Service, Outstanding Small Business and Legacy Awards. We also honor the previous year’s 10 Over the Next Ten, Celebration of Regional Growth, ATHENA and ATHENAPowerLink recipients.

ATHENA Awards Luncheon

The ATHENA Award recognizes individuals who excel in professional accomplishments, community contributions and in opening pathways for other women to follow. The ATHENA award was created by former Lansing Chamber President Martha Mertz in 1982 and has since spread around the world. There are now more than 6,000 awards being presented in over 500 communities throughout the world.

Business Education Series

Born out of the needs of our small business members, the Business Education Series BES) is designed to present affordable educational opportunities to those that need it the most. Presented quarterly on a variety of different topics, the BES aims to teach small business owners tangible pieces of information that they can take back to their office and immediately implement. The Chamber is always looking for new ideas for the BES - As a small business owner, what would you like to learn?

Celebration of Regional Growth Awards

Now in its seventh year, the Celebration of Regional Growth Awards luncheon has become a must-attend event for recognizing area businesses for their new economic investment and job creation in the Greater Lansing region. The 60 companies that we have recognized have together contributed more than $2.3 billion in new economic growth in this region. The Celebration of Regional Growth Awards includes an International Trade Award and a newly created Emerging Economy Award, which recognizes a burgeoning industry in the Lansing area.

Economic Club

The Lansing Regional Chamber Economic Club speaker series features locally and nationally prominent speakers covering a broad spectrum of business-related topics ranging from economic trends and business success stories to the latest in management and leadership techniques. The Economic Club luncheons provide members with an excellent opportunity to network with more than 350 of the area’s key community, business and education leaders. The Economic Club meets nine times a year, with the possibility for additional "add-on” events, at the Kellogg Center at Michigan State University.

The Lansing Regional Chamber Economic Club is the place for Greater Lansing business people to connect and network with their contemporaries, and to hear from a variety of influential leaders about current economic, social and governmental issues.

Grub Crawl

The Grub Crawl is a food and drink sampling tour of various areas around Lansing, most notably the Eastwood Towne Center and The Heights as Eastwood, and features scrumptious hors d’oeuvres and special libations provided by select restaurants. Host restaurants offer specialty appetizer samples and low-priced drink specials to purchase at each location. This celebration of food and drink is a great opportunity to support our local community and grow awareness of the restaurants in the Greater Lansing area. Use this event to get together with friends, to enjoy a night out or provide a bonding opportunity for your corporate team.

 Healthcare Forum

The Lansing Regional Chamber’s annual Healthcare Forum features local healthcare leaders as they discuss the future trends and challenges facing the delivery of healthcare. We provide examples of small, mid-size and large businesses that have successfully decreased employee health-related expenses through wellness and health management programs. The morning Healthcare Forum is presented in conjunction with the afternoon Lansing Regional Chamber Economic Club luncheon.

 Lansing Open

As the Greater Lansing region’s premier golf outing, the Lansing Open attracts hundreds of golfers each year. Played at one of the state’s most pristine courses, the Lansing Open is a great opportunity to network with the area’s top business leaders while enjoying a fun and relaxing day.

Legislative Dinner

The Lansing Regional Chamber’s Legislative Dinner unites Michigan’s local Chambers and their key business leaders with legislators and state Chamber officials for an evening of networking and spirited discussion. It provides local Chamber executives an exciting opportunity to invite their area legislators to attend the dinner and discuss the public policy issues most important to them and their member businesses.

Event Cancellation Policy

Reservations for attendance at Lansing Regional Chamber events, seminars or programs, must be cancelled no later than 72 hours before the event to receive a full refund. We are unable to provide refunds after that time because catering and room costs (where applicable) are based on the final attendance figure, which is calculated on the RSVP date.

NOTE: Tickets are transferable. If you cannot use your ticket(s), we absolutely encourage you to give it to a client, guest or colleague to attend in your place.
