Sparrow MAC hosts Todd Martin cardio tennis mixer to benefit youth
What: The Lansing-area’s own tennis star Todd Martin, formerly ranked No. 4 in the world, will hold a cardio tennis mixer and meet and greet at the Sparrow Michigan Athletic Club to raise money for his Todd Martin Youth Leadership program. The Lansing-based program helps prepare young people, especially those from under-resourced families and communities, for success and to be active, responsible citizens, using innovative tennis education and leadership development. Visit tmyl.org for more details. During the 1990s, Martin reached several Grand Slam tourney finals and later won several seniors tour titles. He is a member of the Greater Lansing Area Sports Hall of Fame. Besides giving back to his hometown area, Martin is currently CEO of the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
