of Collaboration
LANSING, MI – The Lansing Regional Chamber–Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC), the political arm of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, today announced its endorsement of Mark Polsdofer for State Senate in the 28th District.
The 28th Senate District encompasses a significant portion of the Lansing region, including Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos, Grand Ledge, and portions of Ingham, Clinton, and Shiawassee counties. Polsdofer currently serves on the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and brings extensive experience in transportation and infrastructure through his professional work with the Michigan Department of Transportation. The LRC-PAC has previously supported Polsdofer and is proud to extend its endorsement to this State Senate campaign.
Polsdofer’s expertise in transportation systems, road funding, long-term infrastructure planning, and regional connectivity is particularly timely—infrastructure investment remains one of the Lansing Regional Chamber’s top policy priorities. Importantly, Polsdofer understands that infrastructure extends well beyond roads to include bridges, dams, broadband expansion, utilities, and long-term resiliency planning essential for economic growth and competitiveness across Michigan. His work on regional water management issues, including efforts connected to the Lake
Lansing Dam project, reflects this broad, practical approach.
“Mark Polsdofer brings a depth of infrastructure expertise that is rare in any legislative body,” said Tim Daman, President & CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “At a time when infrastructure investment is critical to Michigan’s economic future, having a State Senator who has spent his career in this space is a tremendous asset for our region. Mark’s collaborative approach, regional knowledge, and commitment to practical solutions make him exactly the right leader for the 28th District.”
Polsdofer has also earned the public endorsement of current State Senator Sam Singh, who chose not to seek re-election, as his preferred successor for the seat. The LRC-PAC believes Polsdofer’s combination of transportation expertise, regional understanding, and solutions-oriented leadership will serve the business community and residents of the 28th District well in the Michigan State Senate.
