LANSING, MI — The Lansing Regional Chamber–Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC) today announced its endorsements of Andrea Cascarilla for Delta Township Supervisor and Josh Lyman for Delta Township Trustee.


“Delta Township is a powerhouse municipality in the Lansing region, and strong local leadership is essential to our region’s economic success,” says Steve Japinga, Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Andrea Cascarilla and Josh Lyman have both been strong advocates for Delta Township, have built meaningful relationships with the business community, and understand what it takes to keep the township positioned to thrive.”

Cascarilla has served on the Delta Township Board of Trustees since 2016 and is in her third term. Her background includes government and public policy work, including service in the Michigan Legislature. LRC-PAC cited her experience on the board, her relationships throughout the community, and her understanding of how local government supports a strong business climate and long-term growth. LRC-PAC previously supported Cascarilla in the 2020 and 2024 Delta Township elections.


Lyman joined the Delta Township Board of Trustees in 2025 after the board appointed him to fill a vacancy, and he brings a background in public policy and government affairs. LRC-PAC cited his accessibility, his community engagement, and his focus on giving local employers and residents a voice in decisions affecting the township.


“All politics is local,” Japinga says. “The decisions township leaders make have a direct impact on businesses, neighborhoods, infrastructure, public services, and a community’s overall quality of life.”

The LRC-PAC endorsement process considers candidates’ records, relationships with the regional business community, candidate interviews, their accessibility and engagement with local employers, and other available information before the LRC-PAC Board takes an endorsement vote.
