Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Endorses Representative Angela Witwer for Re-Election to 76th House District
Business Community Backs Proven Legislator with Strong Record on Infrastructure, Workforce, and Cross-Aisle Solutions
LANSING, MI – The Lansing Regional Chamber–Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC), the political arm of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, today announced its endorsement of State Representative Angela Witwer for re-election to the 76th House District. This marks the third consecutive endorsement the LRC-PAC has extended to Representative Witwer.
Representative Witwer has distinguished herself as a pragmatic and collaborative voice in an increasingly partisan Lansing. Representing a politically competitive district, she has demonstrated a consistent ability to work across the aisle—not only on policy, but in securing appropriations and investments that directly benefit Delta Township, Eaton County, and the broader Lansing region.
Among her notable achievements during the past legislative cycle, Representative Witwer played an important role in conversations surrounding the 2025 compromise legislation addressing Michigan’s paid sick leave and minimum wage policies, working to find balanced solutions for employers and workers alike. She has also been a strong advocate for regional infrastructure investment, including funding connected to the Bank Intercounty Drain project, and has taken a leadership role in efforts to modernize Michigan’s drain code—addressing long-standing concerns around transparency, assessments, and outdated statutory processes that impact businesses and communities statewide.
“Angela has been a consistent, reliable partner for the Lansing business community,” said Tim Daman, President & CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “She shows up, she listens, and she gets things done—even in a challenging political environment. From infrastructure investment to workforce issues to sensible regulatory reform, Angela has demonstrated the kind of practical, solutions-focused leadership our region needs. We are proud to endorse her for a third time.”
Representative Witwer’s background in healthcare and education further strengthens her understanding of the workforce challenges facing the region, and her accessibility and responsiveness to employers and community stakeholders have been consistently valued by Chamber members. The LRC-PAC is confident that her continued leadership in the 76th District will help move the Lansing region forward.
