Recognition and Awards
Through its various events, the Chamber looks to recognize those in the business community who help the Lansing region prosper.
Community Service Award
Presented at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, the Community Service Award honors outstanding individuals who give their time and expertise to the community, above and beyond their field of endeavor and demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in all they do. This individual is an inspiration to the community, both in their profession and in their efforts to make the Lansing region a better place to live, work and play. Started in 1948, more than 70 individuals have been honored with this award.
Nominations are due Dec. 2 by 5 p.m. for the 2019Â Community Service Award.Â
Outstanding Small Business Award
Presented at our Annual Dinner each year, the Outstanding Small Business Award honors a local small business that meets the criteria of stability, innovation, a commitment to community, perseverance and a commitment to diversity. The award has been presented to 38 businesses since 1982.
Nominations are due Dec. 2 by 5 p.m. for the 2019Â Outstanding Small Business Award.
Legacy Award
Presented at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner, the Legacy Award is designed to recognize a long-standing Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce member and their long-term commitment to economic growth and community investment in the Lansing region.
Started in 2010, nine Chamber members have been honored with this prestigious award.
Community Service Pioneer Award
A rare and prestigious award, the Community Service Pioneer Award honors individuals who have not only gone above and beyond to give back to the community, but also were trailblazers who devoted their lives to pave the way for others. Having only been awarded to seven individuals since its origin in 1984, this is one of the highest honors the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce bestows.
10 Over the Next Ten Award
Presented in partnership with Grand River Connection and Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, this award recognizes 10 of the Lansing region's top young professionals who are expected to significantly contribute to our community over the next 10 years.
Since 2007, 120 individuals have received this award.
Celebration of Regional Growth Awards
Dating back to 2006, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Celebration of Regional Growth (CORG) Awards luncheon is a community celebration and recognition of organizations that have made a significant economic investment in the Lansing region. Over the years, 60 businesses have been recognized and have contributed more than $12.3 billion to the regional economy.
This year's recipients will be honored at the annual CORG Awards luncheon Nov. 21.
