Jenny Feterovich is an award-winning, 5 times Emmy nominated TV and film Producer known for the hit TV show START UP and the award-winning feature length documentary The Russian Five amongst the long list of notable projects.
She’s a lifelong entrepreneur and small business advocate, focusing on empowering
women and immigrants in business. Jenny also made a name in the
music world as the globetrotting DJ Jenny LaFemme and co-creator of
Girls Gone Vinyl, an organization that highlights and advances women
in electronic music.
Jenny arrived in the US with 6 suitcases and $100 to her name. Her family fled their native Soviet Union and landed in Detroit in 1989, immediately jumping into small business. Since then, she has created several corporations, worked with several Fortune 500 companies (including American Express, General Motors, State Farm, Jaguar Land Rover, UPS, Microsoft, GoDaddy), and had traveled as a motivational speaker.
Jenny is Global Speaker’s Academy Certified Speaker and has spoken at Google Talks, TEDx, EO Alchemy, One Canada, DIG South, SUP-X, and Detroit Startup Week and She also volunteers for nonprofit work around the world, from Habitat For Humanity to Godmothers Detroit.

Jane Mitchell is a lifelong Lansing-area resident and proud wife, mother, and grandmother. After 20 years as a hairstylist, she launched Cards 4 You in 1994, a follow-up card service that soon expanded into branded merchandise consulting. This evolution led to the founding of Tarzan Promotions, which was rebranded in 2011 as Jungle Jane Promotions. Today, the company continues to thrive and includes both her son and son-in-law on the team.
In 2014, Jane earned her Master of Advertising Specialties (MAS) designation after completing over 200 hours of training. She is deeply engaged in the community, serving on the board of Ele’s Place, and is a longtime member of both the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce and Delta Waverly Rotary.
Jane credits her success to hard work and a heartfelt commitment to helping others grow. In 2024, she was honored with the ATHENA Leadership Award, recognizing her professional excellence, community impact, and dedication to mentoring and empowering women.

Chivon Kloepfer is a news anchor for WLNS TV-6, co-anchoring the 6 and 11 p.m. weekday newscasts and anchoring the weekly political show The Capital Rundown. Since joining the station in 2011 as a part-time reporter, she has held nearly every role in the newsroom, including reporter, producer, photographer, digital anchor, and managing editor.
Originally from Guelph, Ontario, Chivon came to Michigan on a softball scholarship to Central Michigan University. After graduating, she launched her broadcast career at 9&10 News in Cadillac before joining WLNS.
Chivon’s work has earned multiple honors, including awards from the Associated Press, Michigan Association of Broadcasters, and three regional Edward R. Murrow Awards. She was also recognized by Gift of Life Michigan with the 2020 Donation Storyteller Award.
She helped launch WLNS’s first digital newscast and anchors “Feel Good Friday,” a segment highlighting uplifting local stories.
Outside the newsroom, Chivon enjoys life in Michigan with her husband, Ben, and their three children—spending time outdoors, boating, camping, and exploring together.
