Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Announces Mike Duggan as Featured Speaker for 2026 Policy Forum
LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) will host its annual Policy Forum on Tuesday, May 12, from 5–8 p.m. at the Country Club of Lansing, featuring Mike Duggan as the keynote speaker.
This highly anticipated event brings together local, state, and federal lawmakers alongside business leaders, decision-makers, and chamber officials from across Michigan and beyond for an evening of networking and meaningful policy discussion.
“Bringing together business and policy leaders for open, productive conversation is at the core of what we do,” said Tim Daman, President & CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “We are pleased to welcome Mike Duggan for what promises to be an engaging and impactful discussion.”
Duggan, the LRCC-endorsed Independent candidate for governor, will share his perspective on Michigan’s most pressing challenges and his belief that progress depends on building coalitions across party lines and putting people over politics.
A lifelong Michigan resident born in Detroit, Duggan has built his career addressing complex challenges, including crime, blight, transportation, health care, and job access. His collaborative leadership, demonstrated during his tenure as one of the city’s longest-serving mayors, is central to his vision for the state’s future.
The Policy Forum provides a platform for thoughtful dialogue on the issues shaping the region’s and state’s economic future. The evening will feature a special fireside chat, offering additional insight into policies impacting Michigan communities.
