DEEP Green will host two public information sessions to provide community members with an opportunity to learn more about its proposed 24MW heat-reuse data center planned for downtown Lansing.

The proposed $120+ million investment represents a significant step forward in innovative infrastructure and sustainable development for the region. The project is designed to combine high-performance computing capacity with a groundbreaking energy-efficiency model, including:

  • A closed-loop water-glycol cooling system that significantly reduces water usage
  • A partnership with the Lansing Board of Water & Light to recycle excess heat generated by the data center back into BWL’s downtown hot water system
  • Reduced carbon emissions and long-term environmental benefits for the community

These public sessions are being held ahead of an upcoming vote by the Lansing City Council, allowing residents, businesses, and stakeholders to ask questions and better understand the scope, impact, and benefits of the proposed development.
