Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce Endorses Pro-Growth Candidates in 2025 Lansing City Elections

Business Community Focused on Building on Growth, Streamlining Regulations, and Creating Local Jobs

LANSING, MI — May 27, 2025 — The Lansing Regional Chamber-Political Action Committee (LRC-PAC), the political arm of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce, today announced their endorsements for the 2025 Lansing City Elections and outlined key priorities to build on the city’s recent economic momentum.

As Lansing continues to experience transformational growth—seen in infrastructure investments, increased housing development, and a renewed vibrancy in neighborhoods—the business community is seeking steady leadership that will continue to propel the city forward. The LRCC believes the next phase of success requires smart governance that helps take Lansing’s regulatory environment from good to great—ensuring the city is positioned for future economic development and job creation powered by local workers.

“We are at a pivotal moment,” said Tim Daman, President & CEO of the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Lansing is growing, and we need leaders who will double down on that momentum. That means expanding housing, supporting small businesses, upgrading infrastructure, and improving city services. Just as important, we must modernize our permitting and regulatory systems to ensure economic development projects can move efficiently, creating more opportunities for Lansing residents. The future of our city depends on smart, steady, and inclusive leadership—and that’s who we’re endorsing in this election.”
