The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce (LRCC) is providing a comprehensive database of resources on its website to assist Lansing area businesses in adjusting and adapting to challenging circumstances brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The resource page is located on the LRCC website, www.lansingchamber.org.
“Our team has made a diligent effort to gather and communicate all the latest information relative to COVID-19 and how it impacts the business community,” said Steve Japinga, vice president of public affairs, LRCC. “This is the most comprehensive database of relevant material in the region and it provides a roadmap for businesses trying to navigate a rapidly changing and often confusing situation.”
When the COVID-19 impact started being felt in the region, the LRCC team recognized the need to provide the latest and most relevant information to the business community. The LRCC website has been used as a portal and the resource page is updated daily. The resource page features local and national resources, state and federal updates and essential business and financial information. LRCC has also utilized online surveys to help gain a deeper understanding of how the COVID-19 pandemic is impacting the business community and used that information to build the resource page.
Visitors of the resource page will find it features new tabs for easy navigation through a wealth of relevant information, including best practices for reopening your business, small business resources, recordings from the popular LRCC COVID-19 webinar series, health resources, personal protection equipment (PPE) resources, an essential worker dashboard, best practices for teams working remotely, unemployment information and state and federal updates.
